The artwork is about glitchcraft, meaning witchcraft as a glitch in the fabric of reality. We wanted to explore pagan traditions, ouroboros and the idea of circularity of life. In nature, you are never lost and never alone. We wanted to combine witchcraft to modern technology and editing techniques in order to bring it to life. This work combines our different practices when it comes to creating art: Johanna Lahtinen is a digital glitch artist, Aro Mielonen is a photo/videographer and Julia Strandman is a textile artist.
