The temporary installation, which is spread in the windows of the EduCity façade facing Joukahaisenkatu, plays with colours and triangle shapes found in the building’s architecture. The transparent films colour the view visible through the window and the incoming light.
The artwork visible for the passing traffic lives with the natural rhythm of the building and lighting. At the same time, it also creates a unique colour scheme in the indoor premises.
The artwork attracts passers-by and brings shades to the greyest time of the year. The colour scheme of the artwork has been inspired by the tones used in the interior architecture of the building.
The temporary artwork will be in place from October 2020 to the end of March 2021.
The artwork is a part of KampusART’s pedagogic programme.
